Directions:
From Bryne, drive towards Undheim on road 506 and 505. From Undheim
follow the yellow signs towards Sikvaland. After a few kms exit the
road to the right towards Tjåland (yellow sign).
or
From E39, take off E39 south of Ålgård towards Sikvaland (yellow
sign), follow this narrow road for a while, and a few kms before
Undheim take off to the left towards Tjåland (yellow sign).
At Tjåland follow the wooden signs towards the public parking
area at the end of the road (See Waypoints for coordinates). The
cache is about 650 meters in straight line away from this parking
area, but for the easiest access follow the path as described
below. It will take you just over 30 minutes to reach the cache
from here.
Total elevation is about 140 meters.
After leaving the parking area and passing the gate (climb the
stairs), take to the RIGHT on the marked path/road, following the
signs towards Ulvarudlå and Aurenes. Beware of livestock in the
area...
Keep following this road around and up the hill. Keep right at the
first 'crossing' and cross the small stream on a small stone
bridge.
(If you go in straight line towards cache from the northwest side
you will have to do some climbing...)
Follow the road around the hill and when you come to a 'crossing'
keep following the road to the left towards Aurenes(wooden sign).
Follow the path up the hill and you will eventually see a wooden
sign at the roadside towards 'Utsikt' (The sign is upside down by
the way...). (See Waypoints for coordinates)
Here you can leave the road and follow the GPS the last leg.
