Chase Lake
This cache is a replacement for the original Chase Lake Cache.
Chase Lake is a small marshy lake located about 1.5 miles south of Priest Lake. It is named after Pete Chase, an early squatter, miner and moonshiner in the area.
The lake is a favorite among bass fishermen and those hoping to spot a moose in the twilight hours. The fishing season here is open from July 1 through December 31. Please keep in mind that gasoline powered motors are prohibited on the lake.
The cache is located in a fairly typical hiding spot (spoiler photo provided) tucked away from shore behind the campsites located next to the water. It is a .50-cal. ammo can with an "Official Geocache" sticker.
Happy hunting!
