Located at the peak above the cabin on the Farm woodal trail. The elevation gain is just under 1100m. The view from the top is well worth the trip but I have added the incentive of an Ammo box filled with things hikers might enjoy. This is a popular spot for skiing and snowboarding in the winter but it is unlikely the cache could be found with very much snow cover. The elevation at the cache is 1880m So make sure you plan for rain and heavy fog. I would allow 3-5 hours each way with a day pack, depending on your ability. There is a really nice cabin you can stay at if you wish to overnight there but reservations must be made at 563-6387 and fees do apply. you can also tent in many of the beautiful locations near there. Again I stress this is a high elevation and weather is very unpredictable. Plan ahead. Enjoy the spectacular views.
