A cache off the Granite Ridge Trail
A nice trail of 2 loops, like a figure 8 runs around and through the Granite Ridge subdivision for about 3 miles.
You can see woodlands, expansive granite shelves, some wildlife, some pretty nice "cabins" and encroaching development
I believe this is the first cache placed along the trail.
There are several access points to the trail, including the intersection of Bretz Mill Road and Granite Ridge Drive. The closest access for this cache is:
N37 05.263 W119 17.810 (0.22 miles from cache) or
N37 05.389 W119 18.065 (0.11 miles from cache)
Walk along the trail until you reach the fence-pass-through made by the homeowner at N37 05.382 W119 17.997
I suggest taking in as much of the trail as time allows.
When first placed this small tupperware Geocontainer contained a Harry Potter note pad, a matchbox Ferrari, a Sacagawea dollar coin, a sharpie, a mechanical pencil, 2 polished stones from Yellowstone, logbook and pencil and a dollar congratulations to the FTF.
