Dragonfly 100 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Aurora: I'm going to go ahead and archive this one. [:(] Someone told me that they had found the cache down the river a ways, and were interested in getting involved and possibly replacing it. But then I never heard from them again! Oh well. Anyway, I live too far away to maintain this one now! It was a great spot when it didn't flood though!

Geocache Description:

Small cache with room for small trade items in Durham City Park. The cache is a short walk from parking on a paved trail most of the way. Parking is at 45* 23.805N 122* 45.648W. The park is closed from sunset until sunrise. As always please rehide better than you found!

Durham City Park is a fairly quiet park that has a small play area for kids and just across Fanno Creek a popular place for dogs to play. There are nice walking/bike trails in the area as well. You can get to Tualatin Park and Cook Park on the trails. The train tracks between Durham and Cook Parks have a pedestrian underpass.
You can get to several caches in the area on a bike without going on major roads.
This is my first hide in honor of my 100th find and my friend Dragonfly through whom I learned about geocaching! So, I'm keeping it pretty easy and straight forward. Feedback is welcome, and thanks for stopping by!

**May 8, 2008 - just saw on the news that coyotes in the area are becoming more agressive and traps have been set in Durham Park - please be careful!**
