Terrain rating based on a semi-steep trek up a trail. No bushwhacking required.
Hempfield Park is located in northern Hempfield Township and boasts a multi-purpose court, one-mile walking track, lighted tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, soccer fields, baseball fields, and a bocce court. The park’s walking track winds along a peaceful, wooded trail for approximately one mile and is open from 9:00 am to dusk. Bring a picnic and spend some time at the parks many activities. Please place both caches as originally placed. Continue up the trail a short distance to see remains of an antique snow lift machine on left side. After completing this cache, try my other cache also located in Hempfield Park.
