Welcome to the 4th Annual Metroparks Geocaching Event and Picnic! This year’s event is being held at Lower Huron Metropark rain or shine.
This is a free event and the Metroparks will be providing the food. You are always welcome to bring a dish to pass but it is not necessary.
We are asking cachers to place new caches in the park, prior to the event, for the day’s activities. If you plan to place a cache for the event please email tim.phillips@metroparks.com with the name of the cache and coordinates by the end of the day Monday, September 10 so we can compile a list of all the new caches to distribute at the event.
10:30 – 11:00am - Registration and activities
11:15am - Posting of the cache coordinates
12:30am - Free lunch
2:45pm – Closest to the coordinate competition / Prizes awarded
3:00pm - Head home or go caching!
