Geocache Description:

Intersection of U.S. Hwy 18 and
Rose Road (Co Hwy W14)

2 Miles North of Hawkeye, Iowa

Cache adopted from Black Sambo:
Originally placed, 8/9/2007 and adopted 10/31/2010

A portion of Black Sambo’s original description:
“Being an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan I decided to place a cache in or near Hawkeye, Iowa”
We are too, so we decided to keep this cache going strong!

Recommended to park on Rose Road (Co. Hwy. W14) after turning North off of U.S. Hwy 18.
Slight elevation change from road down to grassy area.
A small cache shaded in the team colors of the University of Iowa with a few SWAG.

The cache has been revised to address some of the previous moisture issues.
Please make sure cache is properly sealed before venturing onward…thanks in advance!
