Last year's event was a lot of fun and
Neaders, wallace & gromit and Team Namthcof have offered
to help again with the organization, so we're going to try
for a repeat performance.
The event will be held at Petrolia Discovery, a
working oil museum with lots of space for fun and games as well as
plenty of shelter to sit, chat, eat and stay warm and dry whatever
the weather.

Anyone, geocachers
and would-be geocachers. Petrolia is 20 mins drive from the
Bluewater Bridge so cachers from both sides of the border will be
more than welcome. |

new caches to find and geocaching games to play |

Lunch at 1pm will
be pot luck so bring something to share. There are lots of Pizza
places a Tim Hortons and Subway close by if you need supplies and
we'll be firing up a barbecue and have hot dogs and buns
available |

Donations to help
cover the cost of the facilities will be gratefully accepted at the
event |

Update
With the help of Neaders we have 21 new caches placed in the
area and approved for release on the day of the event. I'll have
them loaded on a laptop so bring a cable and you can download them
to your GPSr. Printouts will also be available.
To get to the event HQ use the Petrolia Line entrance to
Bridgeview Park. Petrolia Line is the main street through Petrolia
and the entrance to Bridgeview Park is just to the west of the
bridge over Bear Creek. Follow the road to the north it will take
you to Petrolia Discovery.
