Pressed for Time
This area
is best accessed by ferry, bus and foot. But if you truly are
pressed for time then a quick dash can be made from the car park at
the Teneriffe ferry terminal.
The
Teneriffe waterfront on the Brisbane River has undergone a
transformation in recent times. From derelict warehouses to modern
apartment buildings which retain much of the character of the area
when it was a busy port. A stroll around will reveal many
interesting features, from the railway tracks still visible in the
roads to the architectural details of the warehouse buildings
themselves. There is lots to see in this area and with the urban
makeover many shops and cafes have sprung up too.
Along the
river front walkway is where you will find the industrial relic
that was used in one of the nearby businesses and now conceals the
cache.
Happy
hunting.
