This cache is a part of the ice cream series to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ice Cream in Brenham. While you visit this quaint town, make sure you put aside some time to tour a creamery. It's a lot of fun and delicious, too!
Each cache listing has a little tidbit of history about ice cream in Texas.
It takes from 40,000 to 50,000 cows to supply the milk for that day's ice cream. When you factor in the feed and other bovine necessities, the financial impact on an area is tremendous.
The cache is easy to get to. It is a 35 mm film canister with just enough room for a log. That means you need to bring your own pen. Just be stealthy enough to avoid the muggles. There may be plenty of them during the day and even some at night.
CONGRATS TO SCRAPNPHOTOS FOR THEIR 1ST FTF.
