This multistage mission is designed specifically for kids (6+) by jupiterkid himself. The three stages are located in the "obvious cache" locations and include some outer space questions and answers at each stage for extra credit. The park is undeveloped but has fairly well defined trails in most parts. No major bushwacking required if you follow the trails around.
FALL 2008 UPDATE: The township is permitting a limited amount of Fall deer bowhunting in this park. While there are only a handful of licenses that were awarded, it is still a risk. The park is still open to hikers/geocaching, though...
This cache is located, with permission, in an undeveloped preserve--Huyser Farm--that is owned by Laketown Township. Follow the trails and you'll go through forests, orchards, blueberry fields, wetlands, prairie and dunes -- and see a small pond.
The first two stages are small camo'd lock-n-lock containers containing the coords for the next stage, and the final is a tall camo'd lock-n-lock containing lots of trinkets.
The trail starts off the bridge on the southwest side of the parking loop -- trail goes east but loops back west as needed -- no bushwacking is required. All stages are less than 80 feet off fairly defined trail.
The first two stages contain an optional outer space trivia question as well, with the next stage containing the answer -- the answer will tell you which of us picked that location (we all have "planet" names for caching). While it is not required for the cache, it is always fun to learn new facts. Good luck and happy hunting.
