Top of the ridge. Altitude 10200. Steep trail from west side.

Placed by Boy Scout troop & (initially) packed with items useful to boy scouts or other campers and hikers. Many BSA official items.
If you are a scout working on the Camping merit badge and are looking for a hike that covers >1000 feet of elevation change, start near China Lake campground and go looking for our fully BSA themed cache further along the trail.
If you don't need or want to try this, then arrange to come in from the east.
This is only 1000 feet South East from cache "Top of the Meadow" but is 200 feet higher in elevation. It's a steep climb between the two.
There is a really nice view from the ridgeline. It's worth the few hundred feet detour from the trail.
