This cache is located in the Richfield Historical Park. You may enter the park either from Hwy 164 about 1/2 mile north of Hwy 167, or off of Pleasant Hill Road about 1/2 mile east of Hwy 164. If you enter from Hwy 164 turn north at the farm road near the sugar shack and proceed to the mill about 1/2 mile north.
This area contains two separate parks. The Nature Park, where "Another walk in the Park_27" (GC 12N9N) and "Holy Hill View" (GC 108G) are located, and the Historical Park to the north. This cache is placed to draw your attention to the Eagle projects that have been done in the Historical Park. There have been 4 Eagle projects completed and a new one just started. They have erected the park sign on Pleasant Hill Road, worked on the sugar shack, worked on the mill race, and now are building a bridge over the creek near the Old Mill. These projects were all done by Scouts from Troop 167, which meets at Friess Lake School. These are just a few of the over 100 Eagle projects done yearly by Scouts in the Potawatomi Area Council.
