Geocache Description:

A great little spot near all sorts of things.

This is one of those under-appreciated parts of town. Cherry Hill Mall isn't beautiful, but it has live music aimed at the senior crowd every Sunday afternoon and a great library branch. The nearby gardens that you'll be walking through are pretty, wildlife is abundant, parking is easy, and you'll see the gorgeous community pool that sells memberships. You can do a lot of different things within about 500 meters.

This cache should be approached from the East. There is plenty of parking available, either at Cherry Hill Mall or in any of the apartment building lots. To get to the cache you will have to pass by a large number of neighbourhood I recommend entering at N42.59.439 W081.16.811, as there is a good wide path and some of the best gardens are in this area.

Five minutes in the vicinity should demonstrate the cache's name. The gardens have some great plants, there are also some really nice trees near the stream. While searching for the spot to hide the cache I came across 1 deer in the meadow, 2 rabbits and a few cardinals.

When searching for the cache I would suggest wearing long pants, as there are a number of birrs in the meadow that you'll be walking through. There is a trail to the cache, so you don't need to trailblaze straight toward it. The cache is about 20 feet off the path. It is not necessary to cross the stream if you come from the East.

The cache itself is a small container that would fit maybe erasers or coins. At time of hiding it has only a log book and some Tim Horton's gift certicates, wrapped up so as to fit. There is no pen; I couldn't find something small enough. If someone out there has a small one, that would be a great thing to contribute.

A note on the co-ordinates: the cache is hidden in a wooded area which makes exact coords difficult to obtain. I tried three times, and used what I thought was best. If others feel otherwise, please let me know and I'll make changes accordingly. The hint is very detailed and specific. Good hunting!
