Geocache Description:

You must be in fairly good physical shape to reach this cache. We have children and seniors that Geocache so this is why my terrain/difficulty rating will remain as is. If you hunt alone put a cell phone in your pocket. Do not attempt to retrieve this cache container if you are in any doubt.

Welcome to St. Johns Hollow the site of a few outdoor rock and roll concerts during the mid to late 1970's. This is also the site of my first two concerts which were the Beach Boys and the other was Journey. Journey had just hit it big back then. Directly to your West was the concert area which is all trees and brush now and to your East was the parking area which is now an open field. When placing this cache I had to revisit the stage area and the stage is still there. You might see it better in the Winter but right now you will do some serious bush-whacking, trust me, I did it within a half hour. This site brings alot of memories back to me and especially when I rode my bicycle from Tiffin to the third concert which I watched from the guard rail near the 'School Bus Stop Ahead' sign. Also spotted my first Hippie at this site back in the seventies... PLEASE park on the South side of County Rd.6, there is a spot that is perfect for one or two cars and it is a very short walk to the cache. Do not drive down the small stone lane unless you own a tractor. Park here: (41.01.842/083.13.070) There is no bush-whacking to find this cache. Bring a writing stick and put the log back into the lid of the container first. Replaced cache container to a pill holder on 09-04-2007
