This cache is placed on private property with the permission of the owner. This cache is located on a vacant rural schoolhouse site. The former Strathallan School District #635 educated the rural farm kids in the surrounding area from 1891 to 1966. Due to rural depopulation the school was closed and the children were then bused into Boissevain.
This cache is the second in the "Prairie Kids" series; these caches are easy for children to find and are filled with items for them to enjoy.
This cache is a plastic container filled with school supplies. The cache is not located in the school house.
