Welcome to the first cache in American Samoa. It is a beautiful island so whether you come by plane, boat or if you live here remember your camera.
I have started this cache out with:

a bag of trade items:
A shell necklace
3 pieces of traditional Siapo (Tapa). This is Samoan bark cloth made of the pounded inner bark of the mulberry tree. The cloth is then decorated with natural plant extract dyes. This Tapa was made over 25 years ago and used to hang in the home of a local family. It was given to me by this family that is excited to share the traditions and history with the world. I have also placed a bag to be left in the cache. It has a piece of tapa cloth and a small piece of coral. these items are to stay in the cache to be enjoyed and reviewed by all who find it.
To get to the cache:
You will need to drive ¼ mile past the cache, turn around and return to park on the mountain side of the road near the cache. You can then walk along the road to the cache. It is a little hazardous along the road so highly escort children. The cash is easy to find and wheelchair assessable. There is a carabineer holding the cache.
This cache is on private property with the consent and joy of the owner. Please respect the land and remember that it is in the open and no natural landscape needs to be altered to find this cache. Please replace the cache as found.
