I needed to replace a few caches and logs on the north end of the Chaparral Trail caches, so I decided to put a few more out. I almost bit off more than I could chew. We parked just past the curve where FM 272 and FM 1566 meet. The first quarter mile from the intersection of FM 272 and FM 1566 had weeds taller than me, and the entire trail was riddled with big ol’ garden spider webs, but we persevered. It got easier after that for me and my partners, MrsCoach and nitetrax. But I know you guys and gals aren’t fair-weather cachers – you are dedicated professionals, so head this way.
