This cache is located at the Trail of the Gargoyles.
While caching today, I remembered a place my parents used to take my brothers and I when we were kids. We used to go up there to hike and have picnics and search for crystals in the lava formations. It's a beautiful and rustic place with a fabulous view. If you go in the evening, the sunset should be spectacular. We used to call it the Punchbowl, because you see a big bowl shaped valley full of trees. We hope you enjoy visiting this interesting place high in the mountains.
