Sticky II Traditional Cache

Welcome once again to Mills Riverside Park!
This was intended to be the second 'Sticky' cache we put along the
Fieldstone West loop, but it didn't work out as
planned.
This is a great
stroll along the Fieldstone West Loop in the park.
Mills Riverside park is located in Jericho, Vermont just off of
route 15. There is plenty going on during the summer with a Farmers
Market and a Concert Series.
The park is becoming quite popular with the dog owners as there is
an 'Off Leash' area in the park. This particular hike is of course
dog friendly, but they need to be on a leash.
This is the sister cache of Sticky I. But, now we are calling it
'Sticky II - Failed'. We had the hiding spot and idea a couple of
weeks ago. The cache page had been sent in for approval last week
and is on hold until the 'Hope you can make it" event. It is now 2
days before the event and QGirl and I headed out with the cache and
the tool in the pouring rain to complete the cache. Unfortunately,
we had learned once again that there is often a big difference
between an idea and the implementation of that idea! Sticky II -
failed, but with coords already approved and time running out we
scrapped the original idea and now it is simply a nice cache in the
middle of a great walk through the woods! (But keep your eye out
for 'Sticky II - Another Try'.)
The cache is about 80' off the trail. Tree cover in the summer is
dense, but in the winter the signal should be easier to obtain. You
are searching for small lock-n-lock.
