This cache has been archived.

Hoosier_Reviewer: Since there has been no response to my previous note, I am archiving the cache.

While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you for a reasonable amount of time, we cannot do so indefinitely. In light of the lack of communication regarding this geocache, it has been archived to free up the area for new placements. You will not be able to unarchive this listing. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up this geocache or any remaining bits as soon as possible.

Geocache Description:

This is the last park and grab for this part of the River Tour. The River at this point takeS a detour around a now dry channel, so the next two caches on our tour will be Bushwacks down by the bank and on the island...

Patrick Says: Join me on a leisurely bushwack along the banks of the wonderful Wabash River. We will start out at the Forks of the Wabash at Huntington and take a motor Tour along West River Road towards Andrews. We will stop at the pull-offs along the way, and follow the paths down to the riverbank, made by fishermen. Fishermen and teenagers are notorious pigs, so you may want to CITO these sites. And of course the cretins among us crawl out from under their rocks to use these places as dumping grounds for their trash. Be sure to wear sturdy boots as it can get very muddy and swampy at times. Also you might want to wear a long sleeved shirt for the thorns. Also you might want to soak yourself in DEET or DDT for the skeeters and the ticks. This is a real wilderness adventure!! Thrill to the wonderful river views! Gaze in awe at the abundant wildlife--beavers, foxes, deers and birdies, (including some extinct Birds!!!)!

This little series will be added to as time goes by, 'til we get to Andrews. Feel free to PIGGYBACK.
