Beautiful drive through the mountains to reach the cache. Can be found until the snow flies, then out of order until spring!
The cache was replaced and moved to a new location on 10/13/2015. The cache is on a steep slope but can be reached safely with care. Use the spoiler photo.
UPDATE Sept 17, 2019: The forest service has closed the upper part of the road due to trail damage earlier in the summer from vehicles running on the high tundra. You can still get to the cache but you will have to walk about 0.4 miles from the closure sign.
UPDATE: July 16, 2023 - The road has been reopened. 4WD vehicles and ATVs can now drive to about 300 ft from the cache.
