As far as I can tell this is the first cache in Cleveland, the town I call home. The cache is located at the Cleveland Ball Park. This park was once home of some great local talent and teams. The cache is also alongside of the Clinch River.
Where you find the cache is a place that I have seen underwater many times in my life. It is several feet away from the river but when the Clinch gets high it gets high. I have seen this River almost up to 3rd base on the field. Also everyone in town knows that the river floods very badly every 20 years. I have been told that it did in 1937, '57, '77, and I saw it almost cross the bridge in '97. So with luck this cache should be fairly safe for several years to come.
If you are a fisherman please bring your gear and try your luck. Or you can put your boat or canoe in at this site. Also if you have children let them enjoy the swings, merry-go-rounds, or even play some baseball or softball.
The cords. are accurate but the tree cover at the cache can be a problem. Good Luck! And enjoy yourself.
