Panska skala is a rocky hill located near of the town Kamenicky Senov in the Ceske svycarsko national park.

Next to a major road in town Kamenický Senov is an interesting rock formation. This rock formation is called Panská skála and has a unique style and structure. Panská skála is an open top hill between the towns of Kamenický Senov and Prachen. Its formation began with volcanic activity, and later with mining blocks for home construction. The altitude of the peak is 597 m above sea level. The hill formation is made of several long post that emulate a church organ. These stone posts have an average length of 12 metres and width between 20 and 40 cm. The structure provides a good view of the town Kamenický Senov and also of Ceske Svycarsko, thanks to its characteristic outline.

Panská skála is the best known rock in Czech republic. Played in film Showy princess. On one side is small lake that arose in a hollowed-out portion of exploited, soft rock - this lake is fed only by precipitation water.

Your task is to be find information on the following questions and to take a photo in the right place.

3. What is the elevation of the hill above the surrounding landscape?
4. In what geological era was the hill formed?

Na severu Cech blízko Kamenického Šenova leží Panská skála, která je známá díky svému varhanovitému vzhledu.

Kousek od hlavní silnice v Kamenickém Šenove se mezi stromy ukrývá zajímavá skála. Tento skalní útvar se jmenuje Panská skála a je unikátní predevším díky svému tvaru a strukture. Jeho formace vznikla sopecnou cinností. Nadmorská výška vrcholu je 597 m nad morem. Pripomíná jakési varhany složené z mnoha dlouhých sloupcu, které predstavují jednotlivé píštaly. Tyto kamenné sloupy dosahují délky až 12 metru a mají prumer 20 až 40 cm.

Panská skála je nejznámejší skalou tohoto druhu v Ceské republice, která si zahrála i ve filmu Pyšná princezna. Z jedné strany je obklopena jezírkem, které vzniklo v jáme po vytežení horniny a je plneno pouze srážkovou vodou.

Váš úkol je najít informace o tomto útvaru a jeho okolí a odpovedet na následující otázky a vyfotografovat se.
