The two reservoirs at Chellow Dene were constructed in the mid 19th
c to supply drinking water to Bradford.
Whilst this is no longer the case, the reservoirs and woodland
are carefully managed to preserve and encourage
wildlife.Woodpeckers and Tawny Owls are in residence, and there are
many species of water birds on Both reservoirs.
GPS cover may well be patchy under the trees, but we have taken
several readings and taken an average. We have also provided a
clue.
Can be a busy place with dogwalkers etc, so stealth may be
required. Please replace the cache carefully.
