The original has gone missing, so this one has been replaced with a bison tube. Now renamed Steve's 2.0, after being replaced on November 7, 2009.
This cache was originally placed in celebration of my Dad, Steve, and his 52nd birthday, on August 24, 2007. Dad is a huge hockey fan, and placing a cache at the outdoor rink is a very appropriate location. Dad is also a geo-cacher extraordinaire. Since that time, we have enjoyed a couple of excellent Geo-Adventures together: GeoWoodstock in California, followed up by GeoWoodstock in Tennessee.
This one definitely needs to be a stealth retrieval if other people are around, but this is should be a fairly quick, albeit slightly tricky, find.
