This cache is located in a small park in Forest Hills where the_dude used to play as a kid.
This park was affectionately known as the "mini park" when I was a kid living on nearby Avenue A. I have many fond memories of playing baseball here (the whole playground equipment wasn't there before), riding bikes through the woods, building little dams along the creek and racing home-made boats down the creek. The place really doesn't look much like I remember it. But it's a neat little park and even more kid friendly with the equipment there.
Intended parking location is off of Avenue L. The cache is hidden just off a well traveled trail. This is our first hide so let us know how we did! The cache is a lock n' lock container hidden for all kids, young and old. Please re-hide it as you found it so it can't be easily spotted by muggles.
