Geocache Description:

This is a nice hike to a beautiful location. Be sure to wear good shoes and bring water to drink.

This cache is easily accessible by taking either a trail or a small dirt road. The dirt road is not open to cars.

It can be fun to bike along the road. It is a nice, easy bike ride. I do not propose biking along the trail, because the trail is very narrow in some places. If you want to try it, go ahead, but watch out for your pedals! For those of you that bike, the end of the trail is a little bit bumpy, so be careful. It is about a 1 hour bike ride round trip.

If you hike, the trail would probably be the nicest way to go. The trail is fairly level, but narrow in some places. If you take the trail, or the road for that matter, I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes, since it is a good distance to the end of the mesa and back. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to the end of the mesa and back.

And, most of all, remember to bring water! The hike/bike ride can be miserable on a hot day without water.

The cache is near the end of the trail. It is located a little ways away from the trail, but not over the edge of the cliff.

While you are here, bring a lunch or a snack and enjoy the scenery for a little while.

The cache is a good sized, waterproof storage container.

The trail and road are both accessed from a parking lot, located at N 35° 53.554 W 106° 16.634. The parking lot is located next to a small playground.
