Located in Big Rocks Park in Glen Rose, TX. Terrain rating varies depending on approach and time of year. This replaces prior hide that was compromised during flooding.
Ammo can hidden just beyond rocks, in wooded area. Multiple previous caches were reportedly muggled and not replaced because of the problems. This cacher even had difficulty placing it secondary to 1 particularly interested muggle. A camera (or GPS used as though it is a camera or phone) helps to decrease attention.
Really neat swimming/wading area in same park. New dam is fun for sliding down, just expect to destroy the seat of your shorts w/ repeated attempts--GREAT FUN though. Picnic tables near 1 entrance and adjacent to dam, at street level. No public restrooms, but Oakdale Park across the street, has restrooms and sells drinks/food items, though a little expensive
Cache stuffed full of new items-PLEASE TRADE EVEN for the kid's sake--last cache frequently had to be refilled.
Please try to protect this cache since it is an interesting area visit.
