Hudson River Waterfront Bayonne NJ
This cache is located in Bayonne, NJ. The walkway and golf course were built on the site of the former Bayonne landfill the site was remediated by importing over seven million yards of fill including capping with dredged material from the deepening of the New York bay to create an impermeable cap over the entire site.
The cache which is a 4x6 cammoed lock and lock is about half mile down the walkway. When you get to GZ do not climb on any rocks the cache is near ground level. Please do not stray onto the golf course it is for members only. Along the walkway you will find people walking, jogging, fishing and bicycling. Please use stealth as the walkway is under camera surveilance.
