A hidden pond just off the Switchback Trail on October Mountain. This trail is accessible to ORV's from May through November.
A tennis ball container holding a log, pencil, and other small trade items. FTF gets a $10 movie gift cert. to the mall (I've had it for two years now and don't think I'll ever go).
Many places to park for this one. I usually park at 42*23.003, 073*14.331 and bushwhack up to the switchback trail. You could also park right at the beginning of the road leading up to the switchback trail, which is the only rocky road on the left after you drive down the dirt portion of Roaring Brook Road for about a mile. Happy hiking. At a minimum this one will be about 3.5 miles in and out.
