Geocache Description:

The Great Mound

This cache is on a trail up the hill from an unusual rest stop structure along the White River and a large, old millstone. Or, it is near another trail leading from the Great Mound. The two trails converge near the cache, thus the name. One can still see the White River from here, even in the summertime, but the foliage may give your GPSr fits. So here's some help: park at the Visitor's Center and hike to the Great Mound. Look for a trail on the west side of the mound and follow your GPSr. When your path converges with another trail, you're close. The cache is a large commoed Lock 'N Lock within 10 feet of a trail's edge.

There is an admission charge to the park in season, but no admission during off-season.
