Chuck Walla: Greetings from Geocaching.com!

Since you have not responded to my reviewer log about your cache, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, I posted a note to your cache page requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and to send me a note. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that you are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Geocache Description:

You’re looking for an ammo box. Start at the BMX Track and take the .4 mile hike on the adventurous Boy Scout Trail. You know you’re close when the beautiful vistas of the Arkansas River, Downtown Little Rock and the challenging Burns Park Golf courses are in sight. Stay Alert! The wildlife is bountiful!

This cache is part of a series in the “Cache in with The Natural State,” program of the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism. You’ll find unique trade items representing Arkansas tourism attractions in this series of caches. Find more information on the program at www.Arkansas.com.

Just so you know, there are reportedly some 50-plus caches in the Burns Park area between Emerald Park and Big Dam Bridge. Two of the caches are meant to be searched for at night (the park is open until midnight each night).

Burns Park is a 1,600-acre park featuring a pre-Civil War log cabin; covered bridge; 36-hole golf course; indoor, outdoor tennis courts; camping, picnic area, horse trail, ball fields; amusement park; disk and miniature golf; pavilions available for family reunions, weddings, birthday parties, dances. The Visitor Information Center is open 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily.
