Our first annual haunted campout eat and greet.
Richard Hill lived in a cabin on top of the unnamed hill. He had
lived alone for 40 years. Some said that Mr. hill would never
marry. On the night of October 20th, 1937 there came a knock on the
door. Mr. Hill opened the door to find a weary female stranger
needing directions to Oxford. Mr. Hill hated to send her off into
the night at such a late hour. Exhausted from her efforts to hide
from her stalker, she agreed for the protection of a stranger. Mr.
Hill had never meet someone so fascinating and beautiful. Richard
learned that the ladies name was Liberty James. She was from
Pontotoc, MS and was running from the man that her parents had
wanted her to marry. It was love at first site. It is said that in
the middle of the night there came a knock at the door. It would be
the last time Mr. Hill would answer the door. Some time passed,
when 2 hikers came upon the old abandon cabin in the woods. There
was a strange feeling in the air. Yet unable to stop themselves,
the two hikers entered the cabin to find 2 dead bodies near the
front door.

Directions from Oxford, MS:
Traveling East on Hwy 30. Pass the Philadelphia community center,
Volunteer fire dept and Country Bumpkin store on your left. Take
the very next road on your right. County Road 251. Drive until the
road T's and take a right onto County Road 250. Follow this road
around, and take a left onto County Road 252. Follow this road to
the top of the hill. Our house is the third drive on the right.
Directions from Hwy 78.
Traveling West on Hwy 30. If you pass the Philadelphia community
center, Volunteer fire dept and Country Bumpkin store on your
right, you have gone to far.. Turn left onto County Road 251. Drive
until the road T's and take a right onto County Road 250. Follow
this road around, and take a left onto County Road 252. Follow this
road to the top of the hill. Our house is the third drive on the
right.
If you would like to bring a tent, there is plenty of land for you
to camp on.
This is an adult eat and greet party. We will have three yards,
over 5 acres decorated for Halloween. There will be a lot of
gore/blood/dead bodies/strobe lights/scary music/and characters in
costume.
