Welcome to the beginning of the holidays! Here's a chance to start them off right with a good hearty breakfast and spending time with your geofriends!
Come have breakfast with Thorny1 (and all your other geo-friends, of course) and get the smiley you deserve for starting your day off with him :)
There's a rumor out there that I like breakfast. I'm here to tell you right now that that rumor is just not true - I LOVE Breakfast. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I am one who thoroughly enjoys it. Eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, biscuits and gravy - Whooo-eeee now you're talking my language!
So what I propose is every few months we get together for the most important meal of our day and break bread together and start the day off right with friends and a smiley. Then we can head out for caching or errands or whatever having gotten at least one smiley and the pleasure of each others company.
The holidays are a busy time for us all with the many activities going on in our lives. Taking the time for a good breakfast and getting a smiley for it seems to be sage advice :)
We have the backroom reserved from 8am - 10:30am. When you get there just let them know you are with the Geocaching Group in the back room. I'm planning on being there early.
Prices: Adults (11 and up) $6.99, Kids (5-10) $3.99, Children 4 and under eat free, drinks are $1.50 - $1.75 each with free refills on most.
Geocoin and Travelbug trading are highly encouraged as are tall tales, bragging and caching challenges. Come show us your collection or be ready to challenge your friends to do a certain cache you really enjoyed (or hated!).
There will be a logbook to sign at the event.
We'll be passing the hat for the tip for our waiters and waitresses so bring an extra dollar or two to help with that.
