First in a series of Darmstadt sudoku caches.
We cache back and forth between Wiesbaden and Darmstadt. Since
we've placed three Wiesbaden sudoku caches, it's only fair that we
place some in Darmstadt as well.
The listed coordinates are near the final location, but not
exactly. The final may be found by solving the sudoku puzzle using
the grid in the image below. As you can see, this is not your
typical sudoku with 3x3 squares in a 9x9 grid. The same rules
apply, however; the shapes simply wrap around from edge to edge.
Once you've solved this challenging puzzle, apply the formula in
the image to get your final coordinates.
Cache is a small plastic seasoning bottle, wrapped in black duct
tape. No pen; please bring your own. It's too big to call a micro,
but not very large; small trade items will fit, and geocoins and
small TBs are welcome as well.
Standard disclaimers apply to all caches in this series. Do not
enter roads/highways, private property, fenced-in areas, railroad
tracks, etc. If the coordinates appear to point you inside a fence,
in the middle of railroad tracks, in a lake, onto the autobahn, or
another dangerous place, please err on the side of caution!
