Geocache Description:

This cache is a small camoed bottle with a log book,a few small trading trinkets and no pencil. It is hidden in a tree so no need to disturb any graves.

This cache is located in the Manse Cemetery, not far from the grave of Thomas Kennedy "Uncle Tom's Cabin". The story is told that Tom Kennedy was so mean to his slaves, that lightening strikes his grave when it storms. Caretakers have patched his tombstone many times, they put up a chain fence around it to help and have had to replace it because the lightening strikes and the chain lays in links on the ground. You will need to read the book "Uncle Tom's Cabin" for the information on Thomas Kennedy and the Paint Lick area.
