Barkely Fields new facelift did not reach completion without the expected resistance. The park, which is located at the intersection of Farm Hill Boulevard and Woodhill Drive, faced opposition from residents of the nearby Woodhill Estates. The concerns were, among others, potential significant impacts in several areas, including noise levels, air quality during construction, increased traffic in the neighborhood and effects on native plants and animals.
