Geocache Description:

A short walk from the roadside. The cache is located between 2 roads.

Many years ago when I was a boy there was a large open area of common land where we used to spend most of free time. It was a wonderful place with many mature and diverse trees with a thriving natural habitat for many species of wildlife.
Unfortunately or fortunately the land was sold off in the 1980’s to developers and now has about 400 new homes built on it. There is however one small piece of woodland left where the local residents walk their dogs.

There can be a high muggle activity here due to its location so strelth is required.

The cache itself is a 35mm cannister that is magnetic.
