You can do this one on the way in or the way out of Flaming Prairie Park, hence the name. Â A small camo container with room for small TBs and swag.
Flaming Prairie Park is a nice location near the Mississippi River with a boat put-in for fishermen, and camping facilities for visitors. There are many examples of Iowa wildlife, both flora and fauna, here, and for this reason there is no hunting allowed. I noticed there are no evergreens here, but plenty of oaks, maples, cottonwoods and other trees. There's a pond where you can see turtles on logs basking in the sun, areas for campfires and picnics, and just a lot of ways to get away from the city for a time and relax. This is a small camo cache, and due to the small incline, decline and the sometimes standing water at the bottom, I wouldn't recommend it for little kids without supervision. Have fun!
