Geocache Description:

This is a continuation of our local Quarry Lake development cache set.

DO NOT MOVE ANY ROCKS IN THE AREA OF THE CACHE!!!!!!!!

Eventually, this quarry will fill completely and become Maryland's deepest lake at 500+ ft! Maryland, like many eastern states has no natural lakes. The developer is supposed to complete a promenade around the entire circumference of the lake, over 2 miles total.

A pair of plaques explaining the history of the area and the current development are at the site as are a number of park benches and some artwork. Sit down, relax and enjoy the view!

The cache has been relocated and is not in the rocks anymore.
