Hobe Mountain Tower Flash Mob Event Cache

Gator Man: I'm putting this EVENT to sleep.

Why were TBs ever logged in here? I'll try to track them down, but then I'll mark them "UNKNOWN" if nothing turns up!

Geocache Description:

Hobe Mountain Tower Flash Mob

Come join us for a unique event experience at Hobe Mountain Tower in JONATHAN DICKINSON STATE PARK. This will be the

FIRST FLASH MOB IN SOUTH FLORIDA.

This Flash Mob Gathering of Geocachers will be only 15 minutes long. You MUST be present and sign the log sheet DURING this time to claim this event.

You've heard of mega-events? This is quite the opposite. This event will last exactly 15 minutes, not one second longer. The event will begin precisely at 6:00 PM on Friday, December 7th. At exactly 6:00 PM (as determined by your GPS clock) Gator Man will place an ammo box for log sheets near the coordinates. As you arrive, we'll hand you a "log sheet." Participants will sign the log sheets (which will later become the log book). To qualify for attendance, drop them in the designated ammo box (near the coordinates). We will draw names from the box of log sheets for several door prizes on SATURDAY DECEMBER 8th.

At a designated time, we will take a group photo. At exactly 6:15 PM, the log sheets will be packed up and sealed away. The event area will be evacuated without a trace. Events that happen after 6:15 PM do not count as part of THIS event. Only those participants whose names appear on the log sheets may log THIS event.

ITINERARY:

5:45 - 5:59 PM - Participants: Wait patiently in your automobile or stroll around the area. At 5:59 PM make your way toward the event coordinates.
6:00 PM - The box for the log sheets will be placed near the listed coordinates. This is the signal that the event has begun! Log sheets and writing instruments will be placed next to the box.
Participants: Sign individual log sheets and drop them in the collection box.
Participants: Mingle. Share stories. Brag. Ooooh and Aaaah over the view. Take pictures.
6:10 PM - Photographer: Prepares to take group photo.
6:11 PM - Participants: Assemble for a group photo, and assemble FAST. Listen to the photographer for directions. Group photo is taken.
6:14 PM - One minute warning is called "It is now 6:14!" Participants: Prepare to leave, but don't "look" like your are prepping.
6:15 PM EXACTLY - Participants: Wait for it ... then LEAVE the area (right at 6:15 PM) and meet elsewhere if desired. The log sheet box will be packed up. If you don't get it in time you can't log the event.

Remember to check your GPSr clock, you are in the EASTERN TIME ZONE! WE WILL BE ON EASTERN STANDARD TIME!

The park gate closes somewhere around SUNSET, but that doesn't mean we all have to stop having FUN!!!

Make sure you ENTER THE PARK before say, no later than 4 PM? (If you're not already camping here)

There are plenty of things to do before this EVENT.

There are over 100 new caches to find!!!

And the gate will open automatically, if you are planning to leave after this Event, but I can't imagine WHY you would, the CACHEAPALOOZA weekend of FUN is just getting started!.
