Geocache Description:

A final bonus cache in the Derailed - Nene Valley series

Note that you will find this nigh on impossible if you haven't done the other 3 caches in the series!

Derailed Nene Valley is a series of caches placed on or near the path of the now disused Nene Valley railway. There will eventually be 3 caches to find, and each one will contain a number. You will need this number for the fourth "bonus" cache!

The Nene Valley railway was closed in May 1964, although part of the line is still in service between Peterborough and Wansford with the Nene Valley steam railway. The rest of the line, although disused and lacking any tracks is able to be seen clearly for quite a way southwest of Wansford. For more information, check out Subterrania Britannica where you can see pictures of the various stations then and now.

You're searching for a standard ammo case, and parking is available at the co-ordinates shown
This final bonus cache does require you to have found the first 3 caches in the series.

The above co-ordinates are for parking. The actual cache is located at:

N 52 24.4A8
W 000 31.B56

Where A is the number obtained from the ELTON cache, and B is the number obtained from the BARNWELL cache. If you're wondering why you had to get a number from Fotheringhay, you'll find out later!

To reward the first to find, there will be a FTF Geo pin badge, and our new Travelbug (Thomas the Livestrong Travelbug!) waiting to begin it's travels around the world of rail-related caches.
