The Geelong Special Playspace has been established in the Eastern gardens with the help of many community groups and organisations to cater for children of all ages and abilities including the regions 9,000 children with disabilities. It is truly a unique and innovative playground which cost close to a $1,000,000 to establish.
One of the main features of the playground is the “Liberty Swing for Wheelchairs” which is normally locked but a key can be obtained from the National Wool Museum (lower end of Moorabool Street).

There are BBQ’s, Sheltered Eating Area, Toilets, Extensive grassed areas and views to the You Yangs.

We will supply name tags, but if you have your own please use. Tea and Coffee will be supplied.

NB: Due to the success of the previous Geelong caching event held by VKC1SR, We have called on their skills to assist in making this day a great success. VKC1SR will be doing the work for several day only caches and questions to see who wins the cacher of the day award.

It has also been noted that there are a few Mosquitos getting around so Bring the AREOGARD.
