The Taters: Due to high muggle activity and maintenance issues I am archiving all the Etherow caches. There are too few safe places away from muggle eyes to hide any decent size caches, I am also getting poor feedback,caching is supposed to be fun so I don't want to be responsible for attracting people to the area to have a bad days caching.. I will leave the caches there if anyone wants to find them.

Anyone who wants to try and put out another series is more than welcome.Good Luck!

Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series placed around Etherow country park.The whole series is a three mile round trip.

The caches are placed around the lake at etheoow,it is a popular spot for walking,fishing and bird spotting (visit link) (visit link)

The series follows paths that are good all year round and they are suitable for prams and buggies.There are toilets at both ends of the lake and the main car park has a cafe which is open most of the year.All caches are child friendly but extracting them may take you close to the water so please be careful.

Parking is available all year round in the main car park but it is pay and display.(£1 for two hours)
