I was out paying my respects to Doris at GC15RTT and I decided since I had virtually peaked out I might as well continue along the path to check out the sights. It's really awesome up here. John and I hiked to all the caches west of here from the El Cajon side, but we never started from the Crest side. Lots of exploring to do.
I stopped here to enjoy the view and when I looked East all I could see was the ugly casino. It was so quiet up here I was sure if I yelled "BINGO" they would hear me.
cache is a locknlock with swag and FTF$$$
Have fun. No bushwhacking required. Watch for snakes!! The trail is steepest right before you get to IHO Doris, but it's nice everywhere else. A few boulder hopping if you want.
