A Tender Morsel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

cmclynn: The cache was exactly where I had put it when I replaced it a few years ago. At that time I couldn't find the original long tube. Might still be there hidden under the pine needles.
Cache is too far away to maintain conveniently.

Geocache Description:

A Tender Morsel

A Geocache in the Chippewa National Forest

Discover the Simpson Creek Trail with a short hike among the tall pines of the Chippewa National Forest. These lush & beautiful trails are located just off of Highway 46, not too far from the Cutfoot Sioux visitors center.

In 1907, Sam Simpson's logging crew built the first tote roads and trails in the Cut Foot Sioux area. Today, this system makes up the 13-mile Simpson Creek Trail. Enjoy rolling topography through pines Zebraand along glacial eskers with overlooks onto Cut Foot Sioux Lake and journeys into the cedar swamp. Cyclists, Hikers and Nordic Ski enthusiasts travel on both old tote roads and dirt trail.

You're looking for a regular camouflaged container the size of a large thermos jug. Parking is available at N47 32.158 W94 04.769 and makes this a nice .5 mile hike through the tall pines.

Happy Caching!

Congrats to Loaner & Ole, they split the Gold Presidential $1 coin for the FTF!
