Geocache Description:

This cache is an easy find in the grounds of a lovely tea garden. It should make a lovely family outing. Should be fun for kids as they can easily help find the clues.

This cache has nice goodies and is planted in the grounds of a gorgeous tea-garden.

Finding it will involve a combination of an old-fashioned photo-chase, compass-marching, doing some gentle arithmetic and following instructions carefully.... If you follow ALL the instructions, there will be no need for bundu-bashing and no thrashing through bushes and through streams etc.

Don't rush in for a quick find - rather take the time to enjoy the environment that the owners have created.

INSTRUCTIONS: (Follow these carefully!!!)

1. The venue is privately owned and the owners are aware of the cache. The venue has fixed hours. DO NOT try to find the cache outside these hours. In addition the venue is sometimes closed for private functions. Please do NOT be a pest and try to bluff your way in.
The hours are:
---Mon: Closed
---Tue-Thu: 9h00-16h00
---Fri-Sun:9h00-17h00

2. This is best approached from the Pretoria East Hospital side... Drive to and park at the published co-ordinates (S 25° 48.469 E 028° 18.192) There are other parking areas, but this one is best if you can find a spot.

3. Find a bridge from where you can see the view shown in "Pic001" in the attached photos. (Take note of the view 180° from the one in the pic...)

4. There is a lamp on a lamp-post just to your left as you look at the view of "Pic001". How many panes of glass are there? Write this down as Clue "A"

5. There are numerous benches on the property. One of them has the view shown in "Pic002". Find this bench and have a seat. Count all the large square paving stones under the bench. This is Clue "B"

6. Now go to the bench shown in "Pic003". Look carefully at the background and the pattern on the bench in order to get the right bench. As you sit on this bench you will see a number of very tall Doric Columns in front of you. Count them. This is Clue "C".

7. Now remain comfortably seated while you do the maths...
The treasure co-ordinates are: S25°48.vvv E28°18.hhh
Where: vvv=(AxBxC)+245 AND hhh=((A+C)xB)+159

8. Now walk 20 metres SOUTH from the bench. Fire up your GPS device and find your way to the co-ordinates. (BIG HINT: these 20m will prevent any need to go into the forest and make crossing the side stream easier...)

9. When you get to the the co-ordinates, take 8 steps NNW and look for the OPOR (See hint!)!
