LNT-4 Leave what you find.

Part 4 of a 7 part series - Each highlighting one of the 7 Leave-No-Trace Principles.

Park at N41d54.224W072d17.260. If there’s snow or ice it is not plowed. Even a 4WD may be challenged to get out of here.

This spot is at the junction of the Willimantic and a major tributary called “Roaring Brook.” When one is on the “willi” in the spring this lives up to its name where it comes in. Of all the 7 parts this is the only one with a hike, but it is short and along the side of this picturesque brook. This was my favorite of the series to hide.
The new location is across an active railroad track and near the inlet to the Willimantic.
